   Congregational Meetings Scheduled for Sunday,

  February 24th and April 6th

With the Survey process fully underway, the Search Committee is looking forward to the next phase of the Search process:  The Congregational Meetings.

We as a parish body, will have the opportunity to come together and discuss both the history of St John's and where we envision ourselves going in the future.  Dale Sollem-Brotherton, a consultant from New Beginnings Consulting in Dublin, CA  will be our facilitator for these events.

The purpose of the meetings is two-fold:  First, to allow you, the members of St. John's, another venue in which to participate in the search process.  You will be able to discuss questions in small groups (8-10 people) and participate in other activities designed to gather information about our church's history and flesh out the direction that we, as a congregation, would like to see St John's head in the future.  Second, the meetings are designed to give us an overview of the "developmental history" of St John's:  who we were, who we are now, and where we think we want to go.

Please take the time to come to the Congregational Meetings.  We need your input.  Everyone has a history at St John's, whether it is a long history or a relatively short one, and your story and your ideas about the future of our parish are important.  The Search Committee is dedicated to producing a Parish Profile which accurately conveys the thoughts, feelings, and preferences of the current parish.  In order to do that, we need you to come!

Thanks in advance for your participation.

See you there!
