Beginning August 9th at 8:45 a.m., Father Nelson will begin catechetical instruction for candidates for baptism, confirmation, and those who would like to deepen their understanding of the Faith.

Catechesis is a greek word meaning "instruction."  It is best described as conversion therapy, a process necessary for all who would grow into mature Faith in Jesus Christ.  During this process, you will not only learn, but will become a changed person.  Your life will become markedly different.

Catechesis is for you if:

• You're interested in becoming a Christian.
• You're interested in receiving the Sacrament of Baptism.
• You're interested in joining our parish.
• You're interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.
• You're interested in learning to teach your children.

The only text for the course is the Bible.  We recommend bringing a version with good notes and the Apocrypha.  The Revised Standard Version is the best available.  If you do not have a bible, we can provide one for you.
